Edge Systems Engineer
Help us turn cutting-edge AI into a shippable, plug and play product for factory floors. You’ll design and productise the full-stack “Matta Box” – edge hardware that sees, understands, and improves manufacturing in real time. From mounting cameras to optimising code, you’ll work across software and hardware to deploy systems that just work. This is a hands-on, high-impact role at the heart of embodied AI in manufacturing.
Forward Deployed Engineer
Deploy AI systems on real factory floors, from lighting setup to live defect detection. Own installations end-to-end: scope problems, install and debug hardware, and integrate with Matta’s AI stack. Work hands-on with operators to identify use cases, adapt in the field, and feed insights back to the team. Shape how we scale across the UK, EU, and US – and be the one who makes sure it all works, where it really counts.
Frontend Engineer
Help design, develop, and maintain our Vue.js frontend for the OS platform, create compelling interactive AI demos, and build internal tools to aid in visualisation and training for AI models.
Backend Engineer
Develop and maintain our FastAPI backend for the OS platform, scale database and caching architecture to handle tons of data, and build out the infrastructure for our edge compute devices in factories.
